Before I was an analyst, I was a teacher, a surgical technician, and a dental assistant. The common thread across all of it was data: tracking student performance, documenting patient outcomes, and presenting what I found to people who needed to make decisions.
Eight years in education, including international schools in Shanghai and Guangzhou, taught me that the hardest part of analysis isn't writing the query. It's making sure the person on the other end of your report understands it and trusts it enough to act.
